Jels Viking Plays in Jels
Jels Viking Plays has staged an amateur open-air drama on the shore of Jels Nedersoe since 1977, when director Peter Marcell launched the tradition. More than five hundred volunteers perform new Nordic-mythology-based plays each summer at Friluftscenen, an open-air stage set among trees and lake, using contemporary staging effects.
