Ali-Sabieh Chasse au Tresor Heritage Challenge in Ali-Sabieh

Ali-Sabieh's Chasse au Tresor sends teams of Djiboutian youth through orientation exercises at the town's old railway site and physical challenges at Qarrey Stadium, before a hilltop finale where finalists search a fortification built in imitation of France's Maginot Line for a hidden key. Organised by the State Secretariat for Sports, it draws teams from across Djibouti's regions and has grown with each edition.

A key hidden inside a hilltop fortification built in the style of the Maginot Line is the prize that several hundred young Djiboutians compete to find each year at the climax of Ali-Sabieh's Chasse au Tresor, a youth orientation and physical-challenge competition organised by the State Secretariat for Sports.
