Muestra de Cine Medioambiental Dominicana in Santo Domingo
DREFF, the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival, launched in 2011 by GFDD/Funglode and held each September, reaches more than ten thousand spectators across eleven cities and roughly thirty venues nationwide with over one hundred free screenings, panels and community workshops on conservation and sustainable development.
The Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival, known locally as the Muestra de Cine Medioambiental Dominicana or by its English acronym DREFF, launched in 2011 as an initiative of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development, known in Spanish as Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo (GFDD/Funglode).
