Delicias de Concepcion, a small Morazan municipality that once belonged to the Osicala district, celebrates its fiestas patronales from December 4 to 8 in honor of the Inmaculada Concepcion. The town's economy centers on basic grains, coffee, henequen, and sugarcane, with residents producing jarcia, fiber-rope goods, from the henequen plant.
Delicias de Concepcion sits in the hill country of Morazan department, a small municipality once administratively tied to the neighboring district of Osicala before becoming its own distrito, bordered today by Osicala and Cacaopera to the north and east, and Yoloaiquin and Chilanga to the south.
