Fiestas Patronales de Osicala in Osicala
Fiestas Patronales de Osicala is the patron saint celebration of this Morazan department town in eastern El Salvador, held twice a year: February 2 for the Virgen de Candelaria and June 24 for San Juan Bautista. Both feasts are preceded by nearly a week of buildup activities and feature the town's distinctive costumed El Correo parade.
Osicala is a small town in Morazan department, in the far east of El Salvador, positioned along a rural route that links it to San Juan, Cacaopera, Corinto, and, further on, Concepcion de Oriente in neighboring La Union department.
