Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival in Haapsalu
Founded in 2005, HOFF brings dedicated horror and fantasy cinema to Haapsalu, a small spa town on Estonia's west coast already known for a castle-ruin ghost legend, screening Estonian and international genre films each April in a setting with genuine local atmosphere rather than a purely arbitrary festival location.
HOFF, Haapsalu's horror and fantasy film festival, began in 2005 in a town better known for its wooden spa architecture, a ruined medieval bishop's castle and a long-standing local ghost legend involving a White Lady said to appear in the castle ruins each August.
