Etno-Espa in Helsinki
Etno-Espa has staged free concerts of contemporary Finnish folk and world music on Helsinki's Espa Stage in Esplanadi Park each August since 2005, running alongside its Jazz-Espa counterpart. Programming favors newly composed folk and world music over static traditional repertoire, featuring artists from Piirpauke to Värttinä. Its central, free, walk-up format suits visitors wanting an easy, no-ticket cultural stop during a Helsinki city visit.
