Fantastic Friday's Soca Monarch gives Carriacou its own dedicated soca competition, judged on vocal performance and crowd response, held the night after the queen show and immediately before the weekend's dimanche gras and closing parade. Distinct from the mainland Grenada Soca Monarch, the Carriacou title functions as a genuine local credential and typically draws the carnival week's largest evening crowd.
