San Juan La Laguna's fiesta titular runs June 23-25 in honor of San Juan Bautista, with the main day on the 24th. A mass and procession lead into a plaza feria of food, marimba, and a firework castillo. The Tzutujil weaving cooperatives that define the town's economy open their doors to visitors during the celebration, timing textile sales to the crowds.
