Nimba Reggae Festival in Conakry

Conakry's first international reggae festival, launched in September 2025 by Kanamacina Records and Guinean artist Takana Zion, drawing acts including Bob Marley's own son Ky-Mani Marley across a two-venue, two-day programme at the Radisson Blu Hotel and the Esplanade du Palais in the capital city.

Nimba Reggae Festival launched its first edition on 5 and 6 September 2025 in Conakry, organized by Kanamacina Records and led publicly by Guinean reggae artist Takana Zion, opening at the Radisson Blu Hotel before moving the following day to the Esplanade du Palais for a full afternoon and evening of performances starting around 2pm.
