A five-venue tour by China's Hebei Acrobatic Troupe across Leonora, Georgetown, Albion, Linden, and Anna Regina, staged as a diplomatic cultural gift marking Guyana's Diamond Jubilee independence anniversary and decades of China-Guyana relations. Performances combined lion dance, contortion, chair balancing, and umbrella juggling, free at four of five venues.

The Hebei Acrobatic Troupe, a Chinese company founded in 1976 that has performed in more than eighty countries and won over fifty international awards, staged a five-venue tour across Guyana as a cultural gift marking the country's Diamond Jubilee sixtieth independence anniversary and over fifty years of China-Guyana diplomatic relations dating to 1972.
