DevExpo Haiti Culture and Tech Festival in Petion-Ville/Cap-Haitien/Jacmel/Jeremie/Multi-city
DevExpo, founded in 2018 and organized by the Port-au-Prince tech hub Banj, is Haiti's largest annual technology gathering, held at the Montana Hotel in Petion-Ville with satellite programming across all ten of Haiti's departments. It combines developer workshops and an AI startup challenge, run with corporate partners including the Digicel Foundation, with a cultural DevFest component of music and networking.
DevExpo began in 2018, inspired by the local Facebook Developer Circle in Port-au-Prince, and has grown since into one of Haiti's leading technology gatherings, an annual event organized by the Port-au-Prince tech hub Banj for the country's developer and startup community, typically held at the Montana Hotel in Petion-Ville and deployed simultaneously across Haiti's departments and diaspora communities rather than as a single-city event alone.
