Haitian Craft Market Festival in Port-au-Prince/Jacmel/Multi-city
Artisanat en Fete, Haiti's largest annual craft fair, is organized by IRPAH and Le Nouvelliste each mid-December in Petion-Ville, drawing over two hundred artisans from cities including Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, and Croix-des-Bouquets to sell pottery, metalwork, textiles, and other handmade crafts in a concentrated direct-to-buyer marketplace.
Artisanat en Fete, organized by the Institute for Research and Promotion of Haitian Art in partnership with the newspaper Le Nouvelliste, is Haiti's largest annual craft fair, typically held over a weekend in mid-December in Petion-Ville, most recently at the Ecole des Freres de l'Instruction Chretienne near Place Saint-Pierre, and has run for close to two decades, reaching a nineteenth edition in the mid-2020s.
