Feria Patronal Ojojona in Ojojona

Ojojona holds two separate patron fairs each year: a January celebration for San Sebastian around January 20, and a larger June fair for San Juan Bautista, its principal patron, around June 24. As one of Honduras's older Lenca-founded towns 34 kilometers south of Tegucigalpa, Ojojona shares a pottery-making tradition with nearby Valle de Angeles.

Ojojona runs not one but two separate patron saint fairs each year, a January celebration honoring San Sebastian around January 16 to 25, with the feast itself on January 20, and a second, larger June fair honoring San Juan Bautista, the town's principal patron, running June 20 to 27 with the feast falling on June 24.
