Festival Internacional de Poesia Honduras in Tegucigalpa
Tegus Si Canta brings poets from more than a dozen countries to UNAH's campus each year, then extends programming into nearby towns including San Juancito, Cantarranas, Talanga, and Ojojona. Distinct from the older, western Honduras-based Los Confines festival, each edition honors a specific writer and pairs Honduran poets with dozens of international guests over several days.
Poets from more than a dozen countries converge on the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras each year for the opening of the Festival Internacional de Poesia Tegus Si Canta, an event whose title plays on Tegucigalpa's shortened nickname among residents.
