Festival de Alfareria Valle de Angeles in Valle de Angeles
Valle de Angeles is Francisco Morazan's pottery town, home to the Taiwan-backed OTOP craft project and generations of Lenca-descended ceramic work sold along its cobblestone streets. Whether a separately named annual Festival de Alfareria exists apart from the town's craft economy, October patronal fair, and general Feria Cultural could not be independently confirmed, though the underlying pottery tradition itself is well documented.
Twenty-two kilometers east of Tegucigalpa, Valle de Angeles sits inside a former mining region reclassified as a tourist city in 1996, and its clay-working tradition predates that designation by generations.
