Budapest Comic Con in Budapest

A young pop-culture convention launched in 2022 at the HUNGEXPO center, covering comics, film, anime, and gaming, with an international-pipeline cosplay competition and celebrity guest panels alongside Hungary's PlayIT gaming expo organizers. Vendor floors and guest lineups have expanded noticeably with each successive year since its debut.

Repeated COVID-era postponements delayed Budapest Comic Con's intended 2020 debut until it finally launched in June 2022, making it one of the youngest entries on Hungary's convention calendar rather than an institution with decades of history behind it.
