PeszachFeszt Budapest in Budapest
PeszachFeszt is a spring festival in Budapest's Jewish Quarter timed to Passover, organized by the Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities. Centered on the Rumbach Street Synagogue and Goldmark Hall, it mixes concerts, theatre, and lectures with matzah-baking demonstrations, book launches, and a themed walking tour of the district led by Gólem Theatre founder András Borgula. Founded in 2024, it remains a compact, dialogue-driven event.
Rumbach Street Synagogue in Budapest's District VII opens its doors each spring for PeszachFeszt, a festival built around the Jewish Passover holiday and organized by the Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities together with the Budapest Jewish Community.
