A six-day Danube-town carnival where masked busos in carved ram-head disguises and sheepskin coats parade to drive out winter, ending in a symbolic coffin-burning on Shrove Tuesday. The event blends genuine Sokci community ritual with a boat crossing, bonfires, and constant bell noise that fills the historic riverside streets of Mohacs each pre-Lent season.
