Taj Mahotsav Agra in Agra

Each February since 1992, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has staged a ten-day craft and culture fair at Shilpgram, an artisan village near the Taj Mahal in Agra. Styled around the Mughal and nawabi courts of the 18th and 19th centuries, Taj Mahotsav brings artisans from across India to sell handicrafts, alongside evening music and dance performances and regional food stalls.

Since 1992, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has run a ten-day craft and culture fair each February at Shilpgram, an artisan village built specifically for the purpose a short distance from the Taj Mahal in Agra.
