ARTJOG in Yogyakarta

Founded in 2008 by curator Heri Pemad as Jogja Art Fair, ARTJOG became independent in 2009 and adopted its current name from 2010. Held annually from June through August at Jogja National Museum since 2016, it partitions the former ASRI campus into single-artist installation rooms, organized each year around a specific curatorial theme.

Curator and organizer Heri Pemad founded ARTJOG in 2008 as Jogja Art Fair, an event that became independent the following year and adopted its current name, styled Art Jog, from 2010 onward.
