Southern District Agricultural Show in Ballasalla
Southern District Agricultural Show has run for more than a century at Orrisdale Farm in Ballasalla, organized by the charitable Southern District Agricultural Society. Livestock competition anchors the day, with cattle, sheep, goats, and horses judged toward a Grand Parade and Supreme Champion award, alongside dog shows, vintage displays, equestrian demonstrations, and craft and produce marquees. The two-day show regularly draws more than fifteen thousand visitors.
