A costumed parade of floats, dancers and street entertainers along Douglas promenade, organised by Douglas Borough Council with sponsorship support from the Steam Packet Company, and revived more than once after a 2019 cancellation, funding gaps and a shortened route tied to seafront redevelopment work.

Douglas Carnival's parade route once stretched along the entire Douglas seafront before organisers shortened it to run from the northern end of the promenade near the former Summerland site down to Harris Promenade.
