Holiday of Holidays in Haifa
Holiday of Holidays, or Chag HaChagim, founded in Haifa in 1993 after a winter when Hanukkah, Christmas and Ramadan all overlapped, runs each December across the Wadi Nisnas and German Colony neighbourhoods and Beit HaGefen, celebrating the city's religious diversity through food stalls, craft fairs, music, circus and bilingual Hebrew-Arabic children's plays.
Holiday of Holidays, known in Hebrew as Chag HaChagim, was founded in 1993 in Haifa after a winter when Hanukkah, Christmas and Ramadan all overlapped on the calendar, an alignment organisers used as the founding inspiration for a festival celebrating the religious and cultural diversity of the city regardless of whether the three holidays coincide in any later year.
