Little Ochie Seafood Carnival in Alligator Pond
Alligator Pond's Little Ochie restaurant, founded in 1989 by Evrol Blackie, expands into a beachfront carnival each July drawing about six thousand visitors for seasoned fish, curried shrimp, jerk crab and garlic lobster, backed by soca bands and the south-coast Manchester parish fishing-village atmosphere that surrounds it.
