AnimeJapan in Tokyo
AnimeJapan formed from the 2013 merger of two rival anime showcases, the Tokyo International Anime Fair and the Anime Contents Expo, which had split the industry across competing venues since 2010. Held annually at Tokyo Big Sight since its March 2014 debut, the event combines an industry-focused business day with public days offering panels, merchandise, and previews of upcoming anime titles.
