Gorey Fete in Gorey
A volunteer-run summer charity fete on Gorey's harbourfront, beneath Mont Orgueil Castle, drawing crowds estimated at over 8,000 people across a single day. Fairground rides, beach games, a fancy dress contest, a yard-of-ale competition and a spaghetti-eating contest run through the afternoon, closing with fireworks fired out over Grouville Bay.
