Amman Design Week in Amman

An independent design exhibition and market founded in 2016 by Rana Beiruti and Abeer Seikaly, centered on the restored 1930s Amman Electricity Hangar in the Ras El Ain district. It showcases Jordanian and regional product, furniture, fashion, and architectural design through exhibitions, talks, and a designer-goods market.

Rana Beiruti and Abeer Seikaly founded Amman Design Week and ran its inaugural edition from September 1 to 9, 2016, spanning multiple venues across the city with a flagship exhibition housed inside the Amman Electricity Hangar, a 1930s industrial building in the Ras El Ain district that organizers restored and adapted into a public cultural space for the occasion.
