Kenya Schools Drama and Film Festival in Nyeri
Widely described as Sub-Saharan Africa's largest performing arts competition, this Ministry of Education festival brings students from pre-school through university level together for roughly eleven days of theatre, film, dance and spoken-word performances. The national final rotates among host institutions each year, with a recent edition spanning Kagumo Teachers Training College, Dedan Kimathi University and Nyeri National Polytechnic in Nyeri County.
