Rolling Film Festival in Prishtina
The Rolling Film Festival is a Pristina-based event supporting Romani artistic expression and introducing Kosovo's other communities to Roma culture. Held within the framework of Kosovo's Action Plan for Roma integration, it aims to combat stereotypes and build positive inter-ethnic relations through film.
Roma communities across the Balkans, including in Kosovo, have historically faced marginalization and stereotyping that persist alongside broader efforts at post-conflict reconciliation and minority integration, and the Rolling Film Festival was built specifically to use cinema as a tool against that pattern.
