Bishkek Book Festival in Bishkek

Bishkek's Book Fest has run sixteen documented editions, with XVI Book Fest-2025 held April 23 to coincide with World Book and Copyright Day. Organized around the Kyrgyz Writers' Union, the festival combines a publishing-industry conference, translation workshops with visiting Russian and Kyrgyz writers, heritage exhibitions, and public programming including a puppet theater performance.
