Lielais Kristaps National Film Festival in Riga

Lielais Kristaps is Latvia's highest national film award, established in 1977 and presented at the Latvian National Film Festival in Riga. Organized by the Latvian Filmmakers' Union together with the National Film Centre and the Ministry of Culture, it judges entries across 25 categories. After years of irregular scheduling between 1992 and 2013, the award has been presented annually again since 2014.
