Salon du Livre Libanais in Antelias
The Salon du Livre Libanais has been held annually since 1985 in the great hall of the Deir Mar Elias monastery in Antelias, gathering the majority of Lebanese publishers, bookstores, and universities alongside Arab and international cultural centers. The fair offers books in Arabic, French, English, and Armenian, and each year honors a cultural figure through seminars and a booklet titled Flags of Culture in Lebanon.
Since 1985, the Salon du Livre Libanais, or Lebanese Book Festival, has drawn publishers, authors, and readers to the great hall of the Deir Mar Elias monastery in Antelias, just north of Beirut, for one of Lebanon's longest-running literary gatherings.
