Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival in Batroun
Launched in 2017, the Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival closes the summer's Batroun International Festival with several days of short-film screenings in the historic Old Migrant Quarter each September. Drawing entries from the 21 countries bordering the Mediterranean, the festival runs International and National Competitions alongside workshops and seminars, awarding prizes including Best International Film, Best Lebanese Film, and a Special Mention for Best Ecological Film.
