Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival in Batroun

Launched in 2017, the Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival closes the summer's Batroun International Festival with several days of short-film screenings in the historic Old Migrant Quarter each September. Drawing entries from the 21 countries bordering the Mediterranean, the festival runs International and National Competitions alongside workshops and seminars, awarding prizes including Best International Film, Best Lebanese Film, and a Special Mention for Best Ecological Film.

First held in 2017, the Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival closes out the summer-long Batroun International Festival each year with several days of short-film screenings held in the atmospheric setting of the town's historic Old Migrant Quarter, typically running from the first Thursday of September through the following Sunday.
