Beirut Design Week in Beirut
Beirut Design Week, founded in 2012 by the MENA Design Research Center, is one of the largest design festivals in the Middle East and North Africa, spreading more than 150 events across Beirut in a typical edition. It mixes heritage crafts and installations by established Lebanese designers with showcases for students and design entrepreneurs. Recent editions have run under the name We Design Beirut.
Beirut Design Week began in 2012 as the first event of its kind in the region, built to showcase Lebanese design across furniture, fashion, graphics, and product work in a country whose design scene had long lacked a unified public platform.
