Saida Ramadan Nights in Sidon
Saida Ramadan Nights, sometimes branded Sidon Ramadan City, fills Old Sidon's historic souks and the Khan al-Franj caravanserai with post-iftar crowds each Ramadan evening. Organized with support from the Rotaract Club of Saida and the Hariri Foundation, the program mixes food and craft stalls, heritage song and dance performances, and general nightlife in one of Lebanon's oldest continuously inhabited old towns.
Old Sidon's souks stay lit long after the sunset call to prayer during Ramadan, as Saida Ramadan Nights turns the historic old city's narrow lanes and the Khan al-Franj caravanserai into a nightly gathering spot once the day's fast breaks.
