Zouk Mikael International Festival in Zouk Mikael
Zouk Mikael International Festival stages several nights of international pop, jazz, and Arabic fusion concerts each summer at a purpose-built Roman-style amphitheater on the coastal hills north of Beirut. Holding up to twenty-five hundred spectators with dedicated parking and shuttle service, it draws a mixed crowd of Beirut creatives, local families, and music fans.
A short drive north of Beirut on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, the coastal town of Zouk Mikael in the Kesrouan district hosts one of Lebanon's most accessible major summer concert festivals, built around a compact Roman-style amphitheater purpose-built for the event.
