Tripoli Old City Nights in Tripoli Old City
Tripoli Old City Nights brings life back to the historic quarter through two related occasions: a summer festival documented in 2023 that filled the Old City's streets with local crowds, and a separate Ramadan edition called City Nights, staged around Marcus Aurelius Arch Square with cultural sessions, exhibitions, and music. Both efforts share the same goal of reconnecting the Old City's historic fabric with everyday community life.
Tripoli's Old City is one of the oldest continuously inhabited urban cores in North Africa, its narrow alleys, Ottoman-era buildings, and landmarks like the Arch of Marcus Aurelius carrying centuries of layered history.
