Schaan Monsterkonzert in Schaan

Schaan's Monsterkonzert, running since 1976, brings Guggenmusik brass bands from Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria together across multiple town-center stages on Carnival Saturday. Organized by the Narrenzunft Schaan guild, it anchors Schaan's reputation as the country's carnival stronghold alongside its international parade. Food and drink stalls throughout the venues add a festival-market feel alongside the music.

Brass bands deliberately play out of tune, and out of time with each other, in a joyful cacophony every Carnival Saturday when Schaan hosts its Monsterkonzert, the largest Guggenmusik gathering in Liechtenstein.
