Inconvenient Films Festival in Vilnius

Inconvenient Films, or Nepatogus Kinas, has run since 2007 as the Baltic states' only dedicated human rights documentary festival, screening each October across cinemas, libraries and a virtual hall throughout Lithuania. Its International Competition spotlights debut and second-feature filmmakers, with nearly every screening followed by a discussion.

Inconvenient Films, known in Lithuanian as Nepatogus Kinas, has run since 2007 as the country's dedicated human rights documentary film festival and the only event of its kind in the Baltic states, built around raising awareness of human rights issues worldwide and connecting them to debates within Lithuania itself.
