Grevenmacher Grape and Wine Festival in Grevenmacher
The Grevenmacher Grape and Wine Festival, known locally as Greiwemaacher Drauwen- a Waifest, is one of the largest wine festivals on the Luxembourg Moselle, held every September. Highlights include the crowning of the Luxembourg Wine Queen, the folkloric Kondschafter on Tour parade with international bands and decorated floats, and three days of wine and Cremant tastings paired with music across the town.
Grevenmacher sits on the Luxembourg Moselle among the region's wine-producing towns, and each September it hosts one of the largest wine festivals along the river, known in Luxembourgish as Greiwemaacher Drauwen- a Waifest.
