Wantermaart Luxembourg City in Luxembourg City

Wantermaart is Luxembourg City's winter market on Place de la Constitution, one strand of the citywide Winterlights festival and a smaller, quieter counterpart to the larger Letzebuerger Chreschtmaart nearby. Around thirty to forty wooden chalets circle the Gelle Fra monument, selling mulled wine, gifts, and gourmet treats, while a Ferris wheel, pyramid, and trampolines add fairground energy above the Petrusse valley and Pont Adolphe.

Every winter, Luxembourg City turns several of its historic squares into markets, and Wantermaart is the version staged on Place de la Constitution, directly beside the Gelle Fra monument that commemorates Luxembourgish volunteers of the two World Wars.
