Feast of the God Tou Tei in Tou Tei temples citywide
The Feast of the God Tou Tei is a Chinese folk-religious festival held on the second day of the second lunar month, honouring Tou Tei, the Earth God, at temples across Macao including the Tou Tei Temple in Patane, Fok Tak Chi in Horta da Mitra, and the small Tou Tei shrine in Praia. Worshippers pray for fertile land and good harvests, with the Horta da Mitra district hosting the city's largest celebration.
On the second day of the second lunar month each year, worship of Tou Tei, the Earth God of Chinese folk religion, draws Macao residents to a scattered network of neighbourhood temples across the city, among them the Tou Tei Temple in Patane, Fok Tak Chi in Horta da Mitra, and a small Tou Tei shrine in Praia.
