Festival Zegny'Zo in Antsiranana/Diego Suarez
Festival Zegny'Zo in Antsiranana, also known as Diego Suarez, is Madagascar's first international street-performance festival, created in 2007 by the theatre company Zolobe together with the Diego Suarez municipality and the French Alliance. Annual programming includes giant marionettes, street theatre, clowns, object theatre, dance and traditional music.
Festival Zegny'Zo, staged in Antsiranana, also known as Diego Suarez, on the northern tip of Madagascar, holds the distinction of being the country's first international street-performance festival.
