Mangaliba Festival in Tolanaro
Mangaliba is a traditional dance of the Anosy region around Tolanaro (Fort Dauphin), historically performed by village children during full-moon-night competitions. It is now danced by people of all ages at circumcision ceremonies, community celebrations and national holidays, and appears as a performance style within Fort Dauphin's broader Mila Soa cultural festival.
