Sabah Fest

Sabah Fest is a state-organized cultural festival first introduced in 1988 by the Sabah Tourism Board, celebrating the state's diverse ethnic cultures through traditional performances across multiple venues in and around Kota Kinabalu. Running through August and September to align with National Day, Sabah Day, and Malaysia Day, the festival includes a launch event, a mini carnival, and a larger extravaganza featuring traditional dances, music, and costumes from Sabah's various communities.

Sabah Fest was first introduced in 1988 by the Sabah Tourism Board, organized through its subsidiary Sri Pelancongan Sabah, as a dedicated platform to showcase the state's rich and diverse cultures through traditional performances, complementing the broader harvest festival season observed by Sabah's indigenous communities each year.
