Notte Bianca Malta in Valletta
Notte Bianca transforms Valletta into a free, all-night celebration of the arts every first Saturday of October, with the 2026 edition set for 3 October. Streets, piazzas, churches, palaces and museums open late for live performances and concerts across seven thematic routes, drawing more than 60,000 visitors to the capital in a single night.
Valletta was designed from its founding by the Knights of St John as a single, tightly planned fortress city, its grid of streets built to move soldiers and supplies efficiently between bastions rather than to host casual evening strolls.
