Gozo Carnival in Victoria/Nadur

Gozo Carnival is a week-long regional celebration running from Saturday 7 to Tuesday 17 February 2026, centred on large organised parades through Victoria, Gozo's capital, with floats, grotesque masks and dance performances converging on It-Tokk, the town's main square. The programme also incorporates the Nadur Spontaneous Carnival as one of its best-known individual highlights.

Gozo has always run its Carnival on a slightly different track from Malta's main island, shaped by its smaller population, closer village networks and its own distinct sense of civic pride centred on Victoria, the island's historic capital.
