The Festival Internacional Chihuahua, also known as Encuentro en la Cultura, is one of Mexico's most important cultural festivals, created in 2005 under the administration of Governor Jose Reyes Baeza Terrazas. Each year it hosts more than 600 events spanning theater, dance, music, literature, film, painting, and photography across 67 municipalities of Chihuahua state.
