Noche Blanca Merida in Merida
La Noche Blanca turns Merida's historic center into an all-night open-air gallery, with museums, theaters, colonial courtyards and plazas offering free art, music and performance until dawn. The 2026 edition featured more than 210 cultural activities across over 80 venues along a five-kilometer artistic corridor stretching from La Ermita to the Monument to the Homeland, drawing crowds estimated above 60,000 people.
Merida's historic center is built for daylight: pastel colonial facades, shaded arcades, plazas designed to be crossed slowly in the heat.
